    The Human Resources Officer will report to the Human Resources Manager and will support Operations and Shore Base in recruitment and selection, training, and policy and benefits administrations, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    The Human Resources Officer may:

    • Provide an end to end recruitment and selection service for Operations and shore based positions and ensure manning requirements are complied with
    • Prepare employment contracts, new hire and promotion paperwork
    • Liaise with the Payroll department to ensure timely and accurate wage payments and expense reimbursements to employees
    • Maintain and upkeep personnel files and electronic records
    • Provide advice on remuneration, benefits, policies and Company systems
    • Assist with the administration of visas for Expatriate personnel
    • Assist with the administration and development of the company’s Personnel policies and procedures
    • Provision of monthly and ad hoc reports
    • Coordinate and schedule rig and shore based technical and safety training in accordance with the Company’s World Wide Competency Program
    • Coordinate necessary travel and accommodation requirements
    • Entry and maintenance of employee records in the Company databases
    • Assist with performance management and grievance resolutions
    • Maintain confidentiality at all times of Human Resources information
    • Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs
    • Follow Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.E.M.S.)
    • Perform other duties as required



    • Valid Australian Working Rights
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • 2 or more years Human Resources experience
    • Willing and able to obtain BOSIET


    •  A qualification in Human Resources, with a HR degree highly desirable
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Possess excellent planning, organizational, analytical and decision making skills
    • Possess confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people
    • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and demonstrate a flexible work approach
